Ross Tester chases his ski down the mountain.
Ross Tester chases his ski down the mountain.

The 2025 Freeride World Tour Georgia Pro was full of highlights, including an unbelievable Cork 7 run from Marcus Goguen, but my personal favorite run of the day has to be from American skier Ross Tester.

Sadly Ross’s run left him in 19th place of 20, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t epic. He took a pretty gnarly tumble following what was looking like a very clean 360, losing one of his skis in the process. The lost ski began making its way down the mountain without him and Ross followed in chase.

Despite having just one ski, he manages some pretty sweet turns in steep and deep conditions, proving that he doesn’t need two sticks to shred like a pro.

I would argue, despite the fact that he crashed, this was easily one of the more impressive runs of the day. Ripping like that on one ski is pretty unbelievable and better than most people can do on two.
