Tip of the cap the lift maintenance crew at Solitude Ski Resort in Utah who made quick work of a mechanical issue on the Sunrise Chairlift that forced it’s closure on February 22nd.

The crew broke out a telehandler which made removing and replacing the bullwheel look like a cinch. Nice work!

“Sunrise lift repairs are complete, and Sunrise will reopen tomorrow. Our team quickly replaced the bearings in the top terminal, showing lots of teamwork over the past few days. Make sure to thank them the next time you ride Sunrise or see them on the mountain.”
