Here’s a stumper of a video for you: who’s at fault in this skier collision captured at La Face de Bellevarde in Val d’Isère, France. Both skiers seem to turn into each other, so pointing a finger seems pretty difficult. Can we just say both people are to blame?
I really can’t come to a conclusion on who’s to blame here. The person in blue seems to be a better skier potentially with more experience, so they should have been able to avoid this situation. But that’s with just a tiny bit of information. Whoever came from behind is probably to blame, but it’s not clear who that was. Always leave plenty of space between you and other skiers to avoid situations like this.
