Cheers to 100-year-old Gordon Precious who is training one day week at Glen Eden Ski Resort in Milton, Ontario to reclaim his Guinness World Record for oldest person to go helicopter skiing.
Precious previously held the title when he went heli-skiing with CMH back in March 2019 at age 95. His record was broken in 2021 by Snowbird local skier Junior Bounous who was 95 at the time.
Precious plans on returning to CMH Cariboos as a centenarian on April 20th and is working hard to be in top shape for his record setting adventure. Precious will be joined by his wife and grandson on the trip and had this to say about his aprés activities once he has gets back to base:
“I suppose I’ll have a wee drink of something down in the lodge and a nice dinner.” -Gordon Precious
If you see Gordon out at Glen Eden make sure to cheer him on in his efforts. Incredible.
