Not the first time we’ve seen grouse attacking folks out enjoying a bit of winter recreation but might be the funniest.
While grouse are not generally aggressive birds, under certain conditions including instinctive territorial defense they have been known to strike out in furious bouts of pecking.
Poor guy was completely helpless trying to fend off the bird while his friends got a healthy chuckle. At least they got it all on video:
