Tom Peiffer nearly takes out a drone.

Freeride World Tour skier Tom Peiffer went so big off a cliff at the recent 2025 Kicking Horse Golden BC Pro that he nearly took out a drone filming overhead. Fortunately the drone pilot was able to reorientate just in time, avoiding what could have been a brutal collision for both the skier and the drone.

Peiffer had a solid run at the competition, getting a few solid straight airs, including that massive one, and landing them cleanly. His score was a 70.76, putting him in 9th place for the competition.
