Every hardcore skier/snowboarder likes to check the live camera of their favorite mountain every so often. Personally I check several live cams multiple times a day, mostly just looking to assess the snow conditions, crowds, or generally how the mountains seem to be looking (or I’m just dreaming of being there…).
You don’t tend to see all that much on the live cams, though. The most exciting thing is usually several inches on the snow stake. But every once in a while a live camera is able to catch some gold, like in this case with a live cam at Wolf Creek in Colorado.

The Wolf Creek Base Area live cam does have a solid view of a fairly busy area, so if one were to capture gold it would probably be this one. Hopefully that skier is all good after that gnarly wipeout.
Wolf Creek also has a summit live camera and a Treasure Stoke Lift Line live camera, all viewable on their website. So far this season, Wolf Creek has seen 119 inches of snowfall, bringing their midway depth to 45″. 100% of terrain at the Colorado resort is currently open.
