If you drive 2 hours west of Salt Lake City and keep your eyes peeled, you may catch a glimpse at the secret training ground of man who looking to win gold for the USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Nick Goepper is a professional halfpipe skier who bought 40 acres of desert land to construct his very own personal training ground he calls “Rollerblade Ranch.” Nick and his roommate put in the elbow grease to stand up a 13-foot tall quarterpipe and lay down a 50-foot airbag to cushion his landings as he practices rotations for “never been done” tricks he hopes will land him on the top of the podium for the upcoming winter Olympics.
Nick considers his desert oasis of radness his secret weapon and we think it rules. Go Nick!
