Ski Arlberg is the largest ski resort in Austria, located around the village of St. Anton and other neighboring villages. It’s a stunning area, with over 300 km of marked slopes and 200 km of off-piste trails.
European ski instructor Marius Quast took a trip to this massive resort, using St. Anton at Arlberg as a home base. He explored the different types of skiing you can enjoy on the mountain, ranging from the on-piste slopes to the much more hardcore areas.
It seems like Ski Arlberg is an ideal ski area for the hardcore skiers, receiving some negative reviews on Google from those who believe it’s too hard and that the grooming isn’t good enough.
But Ski Arlberg really is massive, so if you’re hoping to spend a vacation exploring an area, it seems like it could be a good option. Notably, Arlberg has 85 cable cars and lifts. It would definitely take multiple days to ride all of these, and you could probably go a lifetime without fully experiencing the entire resort.
