A woman who got injured while skiing at Copper Mountain decided to drink off the injury in a nearby bar, becoming heavily intoxicated and eventually getting placed under arrest after assaulting staff at a Summit County hospital.

According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was contacted by deputies after drinking at the bar, though nothing criminal was initially found. As she was both heavily intoxicated and injured, an ambulance was called and she was brought to St. Anthony Summit Hospital.

The woman became agressive towards staff while at the hospital, kicking a security guard and spitting on a nurse. In response, deputies placed her under arrest for both assault and criminal mischief.
