This rambunctious puppy training to become an avalanche dog at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho has a strange habit when she gets outside first thing in the morning, uncontrollable army crawls.

At around 12 months old, Reba and her ski patrol partner Jeff work side-by-side everyday on the skills required to be an avalanche dog at Idaho’s largest ski resort and it seems she is still getting used to the uniform judging by her unique strut. Jeff isn’t too concerned about the behavior currently and its quite entertaining to watch.

Reba is Schweitzer’s newest avy dog and is working hard to become part of the pack. As a friendly heads up to skiers and snowboarders at Schweitzer and ski resorts across the world, avalanche dogs are working dogs so be respectful and give them plenty of space when you see them training on the mountain.
