Stratton in Vermont.
Stratton in Vermont.

Vermont is home to a host of ski resorts, some of which are smaller, some of which are quite large. They all have their charm and they all have their purpose. Some feel more independent and local and some feel more like big resorts. Some have more difficult terrain, some are more focused on easier terrain. Some have better snow, some have better groomers. It’s all up to preference, and ranking them worst to best is not an easy task.

But if you’re desperate for an ordered list to help you book your next trip, PeakRankings has got you covered. The YouTube channel has ranked 13 of Vermont’s major ski resorts, putting them in order from worst to best so you don’t have to.

PeakRankings’ list is as follows:

13. Magic Mountain
12. Bolton Valley
11. Bromley
10. Mad River Glen
9. Okemo
8. Mount Snow
7. Pico
6. Smugglers’ Notch
5. Stratton
4. Sugarbush
3. Jay Peak
2. Stowe
1. Killington

As an important note, all of these mountains are great and have some awesome charm to them, from the smallest to the largest. So don’t book or plan solely based on this ranking. There are always so many things to consider.
