Cloudmont Ski Resort located on the Alabama-Georgia border is fully reopening for the first time in 5 years. Operating since the 1970s, this tiny ski hill is the pride of the Southeast ski scene where generations of families from the tri-state area, weather permitting, have made turns on their home turf.
With natural precipitation, snowmaking and tireless efforts from the Cloudmont staff, volunteers, past employees and Jones Family, the only ski resort in Alabama has opened! The best way to check out their hours and days of operation is on their Facebook page. This is their latest update:
