Its been 2,162 days since Lindsey Vonn last competed in a World Cup downhill and she just took home place 6th in St. Anton, Austria! Lindsey was just 58 hundredths of a second behind Italian Federica Brignone who won the event.

Vonn drew bib 32 which put her start later in the lineup. The course likely deteriorated as the other skiers took their runs and her time could potentially have been faster if she had an earlier start.

Couldn’t be happier to see one of the best skiers in the history of the sport back on the hill. Lindsey races again tomorrow in a super-G in St. Anton @ 5:15 a.m. ET, live on Peacock.

LETS GO!
