Wenatchee, Washington — If Family Feud were to ask one hundred people what their favorite pocket snack is while skiing or riding, bacon would be one of the top picks. Good answer!

However, not many ski resorts offer pocket bacon as a sellable snack, which is a shame. However, one popular ski resort in Washington has been selling pocket bacon for a couple of years.

This week, Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort shared that it is offering pocket bacon to guests. The ski resort’s food and beverage team wraps the thick and juicy bacon strips in aluminum foil, allowing it to be eaten basically anywhere. This is the third year that Mission Ridge has offered pocket bacon, and it’s been a huge success. They are currently selling it at the ticket window and the Ka-Wham Cafe, which is situated in the Hampton Lodge.

Mission Ridge opened for the season on November 23rd. Currently, the Washington ski resort has all of its trails open and all of its chairlifts are currently operating. This follows an excellent start to the winter, where the ski resort had its 4th deepest snowfall ever for November/December.
