The most expensive single-family home to ever hit the market in Steamboat Springs’ has just received a major price cut. 2965 Trails Edge, or ‘Over the Edge’, was initially listed for $24,000,000. Now the 7 bed, 7 full bath, and 1 half bath home with over 10,000 feet and three levels has been listed for just $18,500,000.
This mountain-side house was recently renovated inside and out to create a stunning ski town luxury experience. The main level features a massive chef’s kitchen with Wolf and SubZero appliances, a wine fridge, Taj Mahal countertops, and multiple dishwasher. Plus there’s a cigar room, living room, bar room, and dining room on the same floor. On the second floor, a main suite and additional bedroom are complimented with a rooftop deck with more than 3,000 square feet of exterior terrace space and a gas fireplace.
On the lower level, Over the Edge is home to a gym, a sports simulator, a climbing wall, a theater, and a ski equipment room. For the post ski rest and relaxation, the mansion is home to a heated outdoor pool, a sauna, and a cold plunge. And it’s right by Steamboat, so it’s basically ski-in/ski-out.
According to Mansion Global, Mary and Jonathan Swain bought the house for $10 million back in 2021. It’s been listed for $18.5 million by The Agency.
