Sunday night in Buffalo was a cold and very snowy night. Some areas of New York saw feet of snow throughout the weekend. While many would prefer to stay inside by the fire during weather like that, the Buffalo Bills seem to think it’s the perfect weather to beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Buffalo won 35-10, extending their win streak to 7 games and bringing their season record to 10-2. While that’s all well for Buffalo fans and players, our personal favorite highlight of the night came from 6’5″ left tackle Dion Dawkins. The Buffalo Bills player was spotted wearing some nice Oakley ski goggles as the snow was coming down hard.
I’m not an expert on NFL football, so I don’t know how all of the rules work, but I know fines are possible if players are wearing unauthorized logos or branding. Fortunately Oakley is actually the NFL’s official eyewear provider through 2030, so maybe these goggles were specifically provided for the game, or maybe Dion just really knew what he was doing.
