While much of the country is confined to white ribbons of death and other such limited terrain options, the folks at Mammoth Mountain are kicking up rooster tails after a sequences of storms left them with 24 inches of fresh snow.
While it all looks terribly tempting to layout fat high speed turns, remember early season conditions still exist despite the fresh coat and their may be unseen obstacles lurking under that blanket of pow. Have fun but beware.
