Sugarbush had a great season last year, with record visitation and 249″ of snowfall throughout the winter. Plus, they opened a new container bar, saw some golf course improvements, and did plenty of other work headed into the season. But for 2024/25, things are looking even better.
After $11.6 million in capital improvements, skiers and snowboarders are likely to be happy with the work. Sugarbush has added the new Tucker Coffee & Cocktails restaurant, upgraded employee housing, and put some work into the snowmaking. Plus, the new Heaven’s Gate Quad is set to open this year, bringing a four seater fixed grip with slatted seat backs to help with the wind onto the mountain. The bottom terminal was moved around 50 feet uphill, while the top area was regraded to eliminate the uphill climb. It should be a good season!
Sugarbush recently postponed their opening day, with a new date yet to be announced. They are hosting their annual Big Kicker rail jam this Saturday at Mt. Ellen, so make sure to be prepared if you hope to take part! The Tucker Coffee & Cocktails is set to celebrate its grand opening Friday – Sunday in The Farmhouse from 8 AM – 1 PM this weekend as well. Don’t miss it!
