Starting January 1, 2025, all reservation fees on recreation.gov for Joshua Tree National Park will see an increase for both campgrounds and tours. Any First Come First Serve sights will also see an increase from $15 to $25.

The Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA) requires that recreational fees are appropriate to the benefits and services provided and are reviewed and updated regularly. Joshua Tree National Park utilizes the majority of revenue collected through entrance and camping fees to provide visitor services and maintain public facilities such as campgrounds.”

Fee increases range from around $5 to $20 depending on the site or tour. Fees for the Belle, Hidden Valley, and White Tank campgrounds will all be increased from $15 to $25. Ryan and Jumbo Rock campgrounds have been increased from $20 to $30. The Black Rock Equestrian, Black Rock, Cottonwood, and Indian Cove campgrounds will now each cost $35. Finally, the Cottonwood Group, Indian Cove Group, and Sheep Pass campgrounds will now cost $55.

Amenity fee increases range from around $5 to $10. General admission has been increased to $20, Senior admission increased to $10, and the Keyโ€™s Ranch Tour cost will now range from $10-$20.
