Donny Pelletier, the finest athlete hailing from the great state of Maine, spent some time heli-skiing around Alaska with Pulseline Adventure. He did some serious heli-skiing, but the whole time he kept hearing “first descent this, first descent that”. So, as one does, he decided to go after a few first descents himself.
“Baggin’ first descents upta ‘Laska. send me uh note if ya got what it takes ta join this April.”
Despite the serious steepness and the fast sluff, Donny was able to mark several first descents as his own. Unlike helicopter skiing there’s no long ride home after some sweet turns in the the local BBQ joint’s parking lot.
