Paul Morrison is a legend of ski photography with 45 years of professional experience. His work has featured on over 200 covers with ski publications around the world, and in 2007 he was crowned “King of Storms” at Whistler Blackcomb‘s first Deep Winter photo challenge. Today Paul works closely with a coworker like no-other, his own son Ian.
HEAD Ski featured the duo in their new short film “CO-WORKERS“, discussing how Paul’s relationship with his work has changed with the addition of his son both behind and in front of the lens.
“Veteran ski photographer Paul Morrison and his son Ian document their shared passion for skiing and photography in Whistler Blackcomb. What began as a father’s pursuit of combining work with his love for the mountains has evolved into a unique collaboration, with Ian joining his father behind the lens. As they navigate the terrain and time together, their bond deepens through their mutual love for the craft. It’s a story of family, legacy, and the fleeting moments of capturing the perfect shot.“
