Heads up if you would like to be the proud owner of a piece of Hunter Mountain history as the New York ski resort is holding an online silent auction for their E-Lift double chairs from 1968.
All proceeds will benefit the Tannersville Rescue Squad Inc. and the EpicPromise Employee Foundation. There are 65 double chairs on the auction block with opening bids of $250.
Buyers beware, Hunter advises these 56 year old chairs are in variable condition and may be missing pieces. Each chair is different so have a close look at them before placing bids. Also Hunter is not shipping the chairs so winning bidders are responsible for pick up.

Hunter Mountain is selling vintage double ski-chairs from the E lift. The double chairs are approximately 150lbs in weight and measure about 42.5″W x 98″H x 18″D. This is your chance to own a cherished piece of Hunter Mountain. You can register and bid for a ski chair through our virtual auction, held right here. Important Notice: Ski Chair Condition and Chair Number
Please note that these chairs are vintage and are not in “working” condition. Each chair varies in condition and may be missing pieces. Please review the chairs carefully before placing a bid. Also, each chair will have a “lot number” designated to it. These numbers DO NOT represent the actual chair number itself; they are only representing chair inventory. For example, if you bid on “Vintage E lift Double – #7” this means you are bidding on a random ski chair we have assigned as the 7th auction item, NOT the actual ski chair #7 from the ski chair lift.

Chair Pickup
If you win a chair, pick-up will be located at Hunter Mountain. Specific location and instructions will be provided after you have secured your winning bid and payment has been fulfilled.
We will NOT ship or hold equipment. Please ensure you or a family member/friend will be available to pick up your chair.
