After a grueling climb, Spanish racing cyclist Enric Mas was gathering speed around a corner during Stage 9 of Vuelta a España when a minor miscalculation almost led to disaster.
Enric’s back tire slid out just a fraction during the turn and while applying his front break he momentarily road a nose wheelie as he headed for a guardrail. His reaction time was simply incredible, saving himself from what might have been a devastating crash.
During the chaos, Enric’s chain come off which he was able to get back on without stopping. This man is something else.
