Michigan – It’s been another busy offseason for Mount Bohemia. They’re in the second phase of their new chairlift project and are expanding into the Far East.
Yesterday, Boho gave an update on the Far East terrain expansion with an updated trail map designed by @alisonchui. Fittingly, the connection trail to these new glades is called the Silk Road. The other glades will be called Bamboo Grove, Celestial Path, Dragon’s Run, Lotus Blossom, and Monkey King. Ultimately, this winter’s expansion will feature six new double-black diamond trails/glades. The run lengths and snow quality will be similar to the glades over at Middle Earth. With them being the furthest trails to the east, they’ll maintain fresh powder longer and thus have great snow conditions.
If you’re looking to scope out lines for next winter, Mt. Bohemia is having scenic chairlift rides from Wednesdays through Sundays over the next few months. In addition, the Nordic Spa is open daily from noon to midnight.
