GORE MOUNTAIN, New York – Gore Mountain is one of New York State’s top ski resorts. Opened in 1964, Gore quickly became the first resort in the state with a gondola in 1967. Since then, snowmaking, high speed lifts, and expert trails have grown Gore Mountain into what it is today.

With a rich tapestry of milestones, Gore Mountain’s history has grown into a number of peaks, lifts and skiers. Its legacy is a testament to innovation, sustainability and preserving the winter wonderland that it has become for generations to come. Season passes to Gore Mountain are available now. A new, full 2024/25 pass (for someone who’s never owned one before) costs $1,039. A limited season pass, which just features a few blackout dates, costs $859 for adults. Gore’s opening day is yet to be officially announced, but it’s historically around late November.
