Close call for this Chilean snowboarder who was enjoying some fresh turns during the South American winter when he triggered a massive avalanche. Luckily he was able to quickly regain his feet and ride away to a safety zone. He may have been lighthearted in the aftermath but make no mistake, this could have been tragic.
