Vail, Colorado — To no one’s surprise, one of North America’s most popular ski resorts plans to make many improvements in the years to come.

Vail Mountain’s 2024 Master Development Plan, which was accepted by the U.S. Forest Service earlier this year, envisions numerous lift upgrades, restaurants, and summer activities for the Colorado ski resort.

This week, YouTuber SRG Skiing broke down the various projects proposed in the master plan. The video dives into potential lift replacements and snowmaking additions and discusses if/when these projects will happen. As the video emphasizes, master plans are ultimately a wish list, so some of these projects may never come to life.
