Some of us skiers run as our off-season workouts. Some of us bike, some of us hike, and some of us climb. Some may even stick to pure weight lifting. World Cup skier Manuel Feller does this insane workout.
The balance and core strength required for this just has to be absolutely insane. The strength on the bottom of the feet, too. I can’t imagine what the soles of my feet would feel like after doing this, but I guess if you smash your foot into a race boot for your main sport, this is easy stuff.
It clearly works for Feller, too. This past season alone he had four 1st place and one 2nd place slalom finishes, plus two podiums for Giant Slalom. I guess we all need to grab some medicine balls and get going with this workout.
