LINCOLN, Nebraska – This past weekend was devastating across the Midwest/Southwest. Brutal tornadoes ripped across the midwest, destroying homes and lives throughout several states. Before going on to the video, we want to say that our thoughts and sympathies are with the victims of these horrific disasters.

This train operator was parked in Nebraska when a tornado directly struck the man’s train. The man filming the video, Eric Carlisle, and his partner manage to duck under the train’s dash as the tornado moved by, fortunately allowing them to stay safe throughout.

While the camera is underneath the dash with the operators, you’re able to clearly hear the force and damage created by this storm. It’s not a pleasant sight during or after the tornado passes by. 31 cars were derailed as the tornado blew over, but the front end stayed put and both men behind the camera we’re okay.
