Noah Gaffney‘s been on skis since he was just two years old. Guided by his father, the late Robb Gaffney, Noah has become a tank in the Lake Tahoe freeskiing world. In late March, Noah took on the “Goodwill’s” air at Palisades Tahoe, attempting to land a huge double backflip off the Granite Chief Peak run.

It took him a few attempts, but he landed it, putting down one of the biggest double backflips we’ve seen this season. Incredibly massive, incredibly impressive, and now we can watch it from his point of view!

My first double backflip of the season! Decided to step it up yesterday and accomplish one of my goals I’ve had for years. The takeoff and conditions lined up just right to give it a go. After 3 goes at it I was able to put down the stomping gear. Stoked with how it all went yesterday!
