FARFIELD, Idaho – Saturday, March 23 will mark the end of the 2023/24 ski season at Southern Idaho’s Soldier Mountain, and skiers who want to take advantage of the last few days will be able to do so for free.

Friday and Saturday of this week, March 22 and March 23, will be free lift-ticket days at Soldier Mountain to celebrate the end of the season. Those who hope to partake must acquire their free ticket at soldiermountain.com. If you already have an RFID card from the mountain, you’re good to go. Those who don’t have one will need to get one printed for just $5.

Despite the challenges Mother Nature had for us this season, we had a great winter at Soldier Mountain. We are grateful for the region’s support and want to share the stoke with our friends and neighbors.” – General manager David Alden

For additional celebrations on Saturday, the mountain is hosting a cardboard box derby at 11am and a pond skimming competition at 1pm. The mountain is closed today, Thursday, March 21.
