Park City, Utah- It was a chaotic Saturday at Utah ski resorts. While the snowfall was plentiful, heavy winds and lightning led to many mountains shutting down earlier than usual.

In a video shared to Town Lift by DJ Bentley Taylor, skiers were seen skiing down an active road with many vehicles driving through. Guests were stuck near the base terminal of the Tombstone Express, as there was no way to get on any of the lifts during the lightning hold. With no trails to go down from the base terminal, some skiers decided to go on the road. Before that, heavy winds closed numerous lifts at the Utah ski resort. Many guests decided to go onto White Pine Canyon Road to ski back down to the Canyons Village. While it was a snowy surface, their skis and boards probably got a nice base grind out of it.
