Last week, members of the U.S. Air Force were honored at a popular Idaho ski resort.

On Thursday, February 15th, Bogus Basin hosted Wing Ski Day. The day honors members of the 366th Fighter Wing, who are stationed at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The Wing has a total population of 5,100 military and civilian members, along with 3500 of their family members. Approximately 1000 airmen and their families showed up for Wing Ski Day. Bogus Basin said that the day provides airmen “a chance to strengthen resiliency and relationships” in a natural environment. Lift and tubing tickets were heavily discounted for the event.

“Our team is honored to continue this tradition and to extend our appreciation to everyone from the 366th Fighter Wing for their commitment and their services,” said Susan Saad, who’s the Director of Community & Customer Relations at Bogus Basin.

In addition, Bogus Basin offers discounted lift tickets, rentals, lessons and season passes for those who served throughout their winter season.
