JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming — Things got heated on the slopes of Jackson Hole after what looked like a rather benign collision between a skier and snowboarder. A woman who observed the minor bump decided to pull an give the snowboarder a piece of her mind:
“I would suggest you be in better control because you touched him. If you would have touched me you have gotten your ass whipped with this pole.”
She then whacking his Insta360 camera with her pole and skiing off. The guy who was holding the camera is claiming she broke it:
“If anyone can find this karen that’d be great she broke my new insta360 camera and sped off, we didnt get their names but they were in Jackson Hole.” -Ty Wilkins
While we fully support abiding by the Skier Responsibility Code, we in no way endorse this type of street justice type on the slopes. If you feel like someone is in the wrong, alert ski patrol and let them handle it. Cheers to the snowboarder for maintaining his composure and not escalating the situation.
