JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming – I’m willing to bet that a lot of us have watched clips of Corbet’s Couloir and thought “I could do that”. Honestly, a lot of you probably could do that, but I’m certain it looks a lot more intimidating in person. If you’re planning a trip to Jackson Hole any time soon and want to impress your friends by shredding Corbet’s, it might be a good idea to do a little bit of preparation before heading to Wyoming.

This clip, while maybe not the most demonstrative in the world, gives a good idea as to what a normal skier should be thinking about while preparing to ski Corbet’s.

The biggest problem that people do is they come in with stiff legs right here and then they end up catching a little bit of air right there and then that slams you into that rut. So you want to be able to have a smooth transition through that rut.”
