Meet Mr. Steve Fuller who has been working as “The Winter Keeper” in Yellowstone National Park since 1973. Steve sticks around the park long after the summer tourists have packed up and returned to civilization and it thought that he has lived in the park’s interior for longer than anybody in human history (perhaps the indigenous peoples migrated out during the harsh winter?) It’s a solitary existence but Fuller thrives in it. Fascinating lifestyle, if you’re a loner I couldn’t think of a better way to make a living.
