Not sure what the legality is to snaking waves off a passing cargo ship in San Francisco but it would appear Hawaiian waterman extraordinaire Kai Lenny got away with it clean. I would imagine the captain would not approve but not much they could do except maintaining their heading and keeping an eye on Kai as he did his thing. Kai also mentioned it felt “super sharky” in the waters outside of the bridge, glad he didn’t run into any great whites out there:
