“IT’S TIME TO STOP USING “THERE AREN’T ANY WOMEN OUT THERE” AS AN EXCUSE TO ONLY HAVE ONE FEMALE ATHLETE IN A FILM.” Advice for Girls

If you thought the Barbie movie was the only female-centric film to slay this year, think again. Debuting this fall, Advice for Girls is an all-women ski film from cast to crew. This film sets out to tell the real stories of female skiers and to inspire the next generation to come.

“With this film, we wanted to give as many women as possible the opportunity to shine. Women in the ski industry are still fighting for equal opportunities and pay. We hope that women and girls of all ages will feel seen and inspired by this cast of athletes.”Advice for Girls

Advice for Girls takes female representation to the max and delivers on a full spectrum of diversity not seen in many other films. While you can expect to see pros like freeride champ AJ Cargill and Gnarbie’s friend Amie Engerbretson, you will also see some phenomenal adaptive athletes, powerful women of color, trans trailblazers, and the youth of the nation. When they say all women, they truly mean all women.

You can check out the trailer for the film below. To find tour dates in your area, head to the official Advice for Girls website. As a fellow female skier, let me preemptively say THANK YOU to the cast and crew.
