Alta Ski Area is in the middle of the offseason, even if some snow in the upper elevations is still holding on. Unlike other ski resorts in Utah, Alta doesn’t have summer lift operations or attractions like disc golf or a mountain coaster. Still, there are some cool things to do there, including a summer road, a campground, and numerous hiking trails.

This week, Alta unveiled their newest trail map, which shows off their summer activities.

What I like about the new map is that it’s more artistic. The old map did have a topographical advantage to it, which helps out when you’re hiking.

This Sunday, Alta is hosting their annual Wasatch Wildflower Festival. Click here for more information about that event.
