Today is a big day for snowboarders. Max, formerly known as HBO Max, formerly known as HBO Go (you get the point), has just released Shaun White: The Last Run on their streaming platform.

The four-part documentary series covers Shaun’s career and his attempt for another Gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. It will cover his childhood struggles with a congenital heart condition, the sacrifices made by Shaun & his parents, the challenges of success at a young age, and his Olympic triumphs.

The concept for this series appears to be very similar to Lindsey Vonn’s HBO documentary, which came out in 2019. The film covered Lindsey’s final season, where she chased Ingemar Stenmark’s all-time record of 86 World Cup victories. She faced many injuries in her final winter of competing, but ultimately pulled off a remarkable bronze-medal finish with her final run in Are, Sweeden.

The trailer from Max (or HBO Max? I don’t know anymore man) is below.
