Look at what a difference a year makes! Images shared by Kicking Horse show the difference in snow packed from 2022 versus 2023. The Canadian ski area received just 615 cm (242 inches) of snow this past season. That is a dramatic shortfall in snowfall from a typical ski season for the Canadian Rockies ski area.

So while ski areas across the west for enjoyed a winter for the history books, our friends in the great white north struggled through white can only be described as a disappointing season.
