There are not many ski homes, or homes in general, that are unique as the Springweld House in Taos. Last week, For The Love Of Old Homes shared one of the coolest estate listings that reminds many of Ronald Weasley’s house from Harry Potter. Construction on the home began in 1980 by artist Malcolm McCleod Brown and was completed by his family and the current owner during the following years.

Priced at $1.259 million, the eight-bedroom, three-bathroom estate is spread out across three acres in the heart of Taos. The property includes a main home that resembles a ship, a bathhouse, and four rental spaces. Some of the amenities include vegetable gardens, a workshop, a chicken coop, and meditation trails. In addition, a major benefit of the home is its water rights to a 3-acre-ft well. In terms of skiing access, it’s a 35-minute drive away from Taos Ski Valley.

You can view the listing here, and some photos and statistics of the property are below.
