Hilltop Ski Area has one of the most unique spring events in the ski industry.

Alaska’s News Source reports that Hilltop Ski Area hosted its third annual Shifty Drift event on Saturday. The event sees riders on fat-tire mountain bikes race down a slalom course. The tournament style saw four bikers race each other at once, with the one reaching the finish line first advancing to the next round. Unsurprisingly, the result is a lot of epic crashes. The event featured a DJ, food, beer, and firepits. This is definitely an event that more ski resorts should do at the end of the season.
