Not taking sides on this as we don’t have complete information about the circumstances that led to this heated exchange between a skier and Palisades Tahoe ski patroller, but the resort is aware of the video and addressed it in the comment section of their Instagram account. Whatever events happened prior to this interaction, we can agree it’s not a good look for a resort employee to lose his cool to this degree.
I was fully expecting the kid to be a little shit but then the medic stepped so, so, soooo far out of line 😳

Palisades Tahoe’s Instagram account has been inundated with comments about the altercation, and they have responded with the following statement:
“We appreciate the concern around the video that captures part of an interaction between a guest and a member of our patrol team that occurred yesterday afternoon. We are currently gathering information from the parties involved and from witnesses who were at the scene, because as with any situation, there is additional context needed to evaluate the entirety of the interaction. What is not captured in this video that is important to know is that this interaction ended well, with the two parties shaking hands and agreeing to the resolution. Thank you for allowing our team to do our due diligence to evaluate what happened and take appropriate action.”
