Division 1 field hockey player Anna Buhrmann sustained significant injuries in a skiing accident at Copper Mountain, CO.

Buhrmann, a German student athlete at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, violently struck a tree last week on her Spring Break trip.

She was flown to a local hospital where doctors determined that she is paralyzed from the shoulders down.
