Bears never forget a source of food.
We don’t have a lot of information about the video below, but there are a few assumptions that we can make.
For one, it appears as if the lady recording has a relationship with this big black bear. She most likely fed it once, and now it keeps returning.
My guess is that she regularly gives the bear scraps, and it’s willing to endure her incessant scratching and high-pitched voice in exchange for food.
Watch as she wipes snow off this wild bear’s back and treats it like a puppy:
Everything about this video makes me cringe.
Bears are wild creatures that can turn on a human in a second.
It feels like it’s only a matter of time that this bear snaps, and turns her into a quick and easy snack.
As a rule of thumb-
DO NOT FEED ANY BEARS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. OKAY? JUST DON’T DO IT. IT’S REALLY NOT THAT HARD.
Even if this bear doesn’t kill this woman, he will most likely get itself in trouble somewhere down the line.
