In what has been a season of monster storms for Palisades Tahoe, this week’s blizzard certainly didn’t disappoint.

The resort is reporting a whopping 108 inches over the last seven days, 38 inches in the last 24 hours, and several more feet expected throughout today.

The storm has brought Palisades’ seasonal total to 500 inches! That’s 100 inches greater than their reported annual average.

Pretty unreal, right?

It’s snowed so much that the resort is CLOSED today, February 28th, 2023.

Check out these photos taken by Matt Peterson from the storm:

I’m very jealous of all you fine folks enjoying the powder season of a lifetime out there at Palisades Tahoe!

Here’s hoping I’ll be able to make it back out there for the Pain McShlonky on March 25th!
