Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for loving cold weather.
The breed is from Bern, Switzerland and were originally bred to be a working dog on farms across the Swiss Alps.
They make great pets today, but anybody with one will tell you that they struggle with the heat. A Bernese would much rather lay in a big pile of snow than sit out in the sun on a summer day.
