Teton Pass Ski Resort (Montana) took to social media to share a video of a beautiful lynx family wandering around the ski area.

The video isn’t long, but it provides a quick reminder that we are constantly surrounded by wildlife when we recreate in the mountains.

Take a look at the female and her two kittens in video below:

Lynx can be extremely difficult to track, but experts estimate that Montana is home to about 300 across the state.

They weigh 18 to 31 pounds, and stand 19 to 22 inches tall.

Seeing a lynx in the wild, let alone three, is extremely rare. Kudos to Brad Keenan and Teton Pass Ski Resort for sharing this awesome encounter with all of us.
